Fellow writer here, maybe you should focus a bit more on explaining concepts first and solving a sample case before you delve deeper.

As is it reads as a very technical intro and then a lot of "this is also worse for this and this reason" while the reader is still stuck with the base concept.

I know the fun part is writing about how the complexity unfolds, but keep in mind that most people won't read past the intro if they are not following.

I hope this doesn't sound harsh or mean, I liked the piece and just though of giving some constructive feedback
