If Deno had come first (and Node latter), do you think people would migrate to Node?

I know this is an open ended question and subject to opinion, but I'd like to hear yours.

In such cases, that a novel tech is simply not sexy enough to convince people to change, I always wonder if it is all just a matter of timing. Whether if it had came first if we would be having this discussion the other way around.
