Thanks for the article. Something I would definitively read and clap for would be an article on the applications of this. As a user, I understand that these languages can model random events and tell me the probability of some query being true. However, to what extent is this really useful or applicable in real-world settings? Which fields did find opportunities for these methods to shine and bring real measurable value to their products? Posing the question inversely, how can I tell that a given problem / situation could be solved by PPL in a way that no other technique would be as good?
