That Dr. Raoult is pretty shady to me. He looks like all those mad evil scientists from science fiction and keeps doing biased pre-prints.

My honest thoughts, there has been about one month that his first study came about, both drugs are widespread, most countries / hospitals know about it, and there is no shortage of patients to try it out. If there has been little to no independent supportive evidence so far, it is because it didn’t work, or at least not nearly as good as the studies show.

The entire world is looking at this. The world greatest hospitals are sure doing trials, even under the carpet, for sure. China most surely did as well. Everyone wants to be the one country that defeated Corona. This drug simply won’t be the one to do so.
